European instability, a global Depression, and a weak League of Nations were all factors leading to WWII. Hitler, the Holocaust, Pearl Harbor, Iwo-Jima, D-Day, A-Bomb, and the creation of the U.N., were all memorable events during this era. This lesson will let you explore WWII.

The incident, though, still rankles Sino-Japanese relations. Japanese nationalists contend that the death tolls are inflated and the majority killed were resisting Japanese occupation.
